Accelerate Automotive to Release Automotive E-Commerce Documentary

The Masters Series: Automotive E-Commerce Examines Dealer Best Practices Across the US
Salt Lake City, UT/November 13, 2007 -- Accelerate Automotive announced today that it will be releasing a documentary on automotive e-commerce best practices later this month. The DVD-based production, entitled “The Masters Series: Automotive E-Commerce,” focuses on successful dealers and the structures and processes they use to make Internet marketing and sales an increasingly valuable part of their business.
This documentary represents a year of hard work and the contributions of dozens of e-commerce experts and dealers, "said Jared Hamilton, founder and president of Accelerate Automotive. "It provides an extensive analysis of the market based entirely on the actual experiences and successes of dealers and other experts who have found the most effective ways of thinking about the Internet, and who have put that thinking to work.

According to Hamilton, the documentary has a very specific educational purpose. “Viewers will find it inspirational and energizing,” he said, “but its primary aim is to help dealers understand the evolving market we operate in and leverage all the innovative ways of profiting from it.”

Hamilton emphasized that the documentary is much more than a “how-to” guide. “There’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all e-commerce strategy,” he said. “Each dealer has to develop a plan that works with the dealership’s culture and the dynamics of the local market. Our project begins by looking at the wide variety of practices that can work well. Then we make sense of this variety by showing what is common to all these approaches, what general forms they take, and which forms are best suited to different kinds of dealerships.”
