Accelerate Automotive's E-Commerce Documentary to Debut at November 29 Event

San Francisco Screening of "The Masters Series: Automotive E-Commerce" to Feature Speakers and Networking Opportunities

Salt Lake City, UT/November 14, 2007 -- Accelerate Automotive announced today that its documentary on automotive e-commerce best practices, titled "The Masters Series: Automotive E-Commerce," will receive its first screening in San Francisco on November 29. The DVD-based production focuses on successful dealers and the structures and processes they use to make Internet marketing and sales an increasingly valuable part of their business.
"We're looking forward to the opportunity to celebrate a year of hard work and recognize the contributions of dozens of e-commerce experts and dealers," said Trevor Hill, co-founder of Accelerate Automotive. "Screening the documentary will be the centerpiece of the evening, of course, but we're also fortunate to have Dean Evans and Allan Cooper there to share some thoughts about the industry's progress and future. Refreshments will be served at a reception following the screening, and attendees will have ample opportunity to socialize and talk business."
According to Hill, the documentary should generate a great deal of discussion. "Our project begins by looking at the wide variety of e-commerce practices that can work well for dealers. Then we make sense of this variety by showing what is common to all these approaches, what general forms they take, and which forms are best suited to different kinds of dealerships," he said. "It's not a how-to guide - automotive e-commerce can't be reduced to that - but at the same time it goes far beyond generalities. It will help dealers understand the evolving market we operate in and the choices they face for leveraging a wide range of innovative practices."
